As part of the South Croydon Cricket Club strategy to provide a pathway
through
to Senior Cricket. We intend to add a second team in
2009/10 in the Under 16
competition of the RDCA.
This team will
accommodate our existing girls who have to move out of the Under 14's
and
offer an opportunity for more girls to play regular club cricket.
Girls have the ability to play 2 years outside their age group in
RDCA competitions.
Girls, Under 18 on September 1, 2009 can play in
the Under 16 competition.
The club provides a professional pre-season training platform for
all girls
wishing to prepare for competition play.
This year, South Croydon provided 6 - Under 14, 4 - Under 16, 1 - Under 18,
players for the
Outer East Representative side to play in the State
championships, 1 Player who represented The Inner East, and 2
players who played for Victoria at Under 13 and Under 15 level.
Our Girls Coach is Bronte Stray a former Victorian Under 19 player
