Bulldogs Under 10 Game Program
Boys and Girls.

Age Guideline* - Must be Under 10 years old on the 1st September 2009.

At under 10 level, we introduce an optional training day which includes; net practice,
fine motor skill development and coaching a variety of strokes and bowling
styles in preparation for Friday night match’s.

Training takes place on Monday's between 5pm and 6:30pm at Cheong Park. In Season.

Games are played on Friday nights from 5:30-7:30 on a home and away basis between
clubs in the local area. The games are ‘friendly’ non competitive hit outs with
the emphasis on allowing the coaches to develop the children’s skills as they play
with a limited amount of intervention. Batsman bat in pairs and are given a set
number of overs. Our emphasis is always on participation, fun, and safety.

Teams can win and scores are recorded in a scorebook but there are no official ladders.
The ball is a rubber composite and players are required to wear helmets, gloves, pads
and a protector. Equipment is provided. Cricket whites must be worn.

A club playing top is available for purchase.

All games and training nights are supervised and managed by Cricket Victoria qualified coach’s.
