SCCC Announce New Coach Added: 18th June 2009.

The club has secured a major new coaching talent during the off-season.

Many members had a sneak peak at the club presentation night
when Josh Stewart introduced himself during our awards ceremony.

While many clubs resorted to advertising for a new coach after the end of the season
our senior playing group and committee were already well advanced in securing
Josh Stewart to make our club a success next season .

Junior Preseason Training 09/10 Added: 8th June 2009.

Junior Preseason for U12's and above will be held at

Every Saturday from 9am-10am
starting on the 29th August 2009 through to 19th September 2009.

We Need Your Help With Our History Added: 20th June 2009.

In the past year, our resident historian has spent a massive amount of time,
documenting and researching the clubs history.

We are still on the hunt for more information from past players and officials,
we are looking for information such as scorebooks, newspaper clippings, photos, awards,
basically anything to do with South Croydon Cricket Club.

If you have anything that may be of interest for us, it might be that old photo in the cupboard or
trophy on the shelf, even if you think we may already have it, please contact the club,
all assistance will be greatly appreciated.

The club is also looking to update it's records and establish a Past Players register, so that
all past players can be contacted easily when the club has significant events.

Cricket Poll Added: 25th May 2009.

The Ringwood District Cricket Association are evaluating playing formats for
their senior grades, however what is clear is that any decisions will have an impact
on the game for current and future generations of players.

As an example, two day cricket for our Juniors would not be a as relevant
if the seniors did not play two day cricket.

As a club, we want your opinion on the best format for cricket for you.
